Getting Stuff Together

It's been rather painful and painless at the same time to get stuff together. We've decided to primarily use STA student tickets for much of our travels due to the good refund/date change policy, and stopover system...something which we have already used, fortunately and unfortunately (it's not free, but very reasonable). Tim at the PB branch has pretty much bent over backwards for us, and made my life a million times easier. So far we got Aug 26 into a Costa Rica stop over, which I am very excited for since Central America got nixed from the original trip. We then enter Peru and hit up Machu Pichu, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil and fly out of Rio Dec 17th. We then hit up Lora's friend's wedding in Hawaii around Xmas and fly over to Tokyo, courtesy of another STA stopover for a week. Then it's on to Singapore and into Hanoi in mid January. From there the goal is to make it to Bali and be able to fly out of Jakarta April 14. We then, pending stop over provisions, have 3 months in Australia and 1 month in New Zealand. That takes me to August in which we will get as much of Europe in (primarily East) but hoping to visit some friends along the way. Hopefully we'll have some couchsurfers over, get our Brazil visa, pack and things will take care of themselves.

There you have it. ready.set.go
